chatting with an unknown person

when i was in facebook sometime this week a familiar name asked for a chat. so, i chatted with her and after only a few sentences i realized that she only has almost the same name of my friend who happens to be her sister in law. i basically don't know anything she was talking about and thinking of all diplomacy i could muster i just decided to let it be. she, typing away and me not looking anymore in the facebook page till facebook signs me out because i'm idle.
has this happened to you? what did you do?

Hi Ritchelle,
I do not prefer to chat with unknown persons
. In fact I hardly get time to chat with my friends now. Before joining mylot I was in search of some money making sites and joined many forums including some social networking sites and experienced some chats with unknown persons. Later I realized that I can’t enjoy these kinds of chats and I stopped visiting those sites. Now I am devoting my free time for mylot only.

now that you mentioned social sites that make us earn it made me realize that mylot is better since this is a discussion site. we may not know one another but we know what to say to each other

I have encountered a lot of strangers chatting with me on the net and they chat as if they have known me for a very very long time and we have met sometime. Got used to it now and share only information that I am comfortable with.
