Hmm. that's strange. Yes, fall is their season. Apples are great. If you ever get a chance to eat apples from North Carolina, they are the best to me!! My aunt lives there and every time they used to come home to visit, they would bring some apples. They are kind of tart and delicious!!

Yes, you are right the season for apples is Autumn! Apples grow everywhere here in Canada so they are always nice and fresh in the fall! Also in the fall you can get them for a steal too! Last September/Octoberish they had a big huge bin of apples and they were 25 cents a pound so I seriously loaded up! I made apple crisp (my family's favorite) and I made some apple cinnamon muffins with them! Also we had some in the fridge as our 3 year old LOVES apples as a snack!

yes ,apple is good fruit ,i like it too much, i often eat one apple after the dinner everyday, and this is so helply to heathly.

I just bought a bag and they were awful. Threw most of them away. I was making fruit salad and my daughter prefers the red apples in it so that was what I bought. Normally I buy Granny Smith. They are a crisp tart apple and I think they hold up better. They are a great cooking apple, probley the best one for cooking, but I like to just eat them.

There are actually many varieties of apples not just the names but also for what they are best used for. I was surprised to know it when one morning i saw a feature in tv all about apples. There is a specific variety for apples used for wine making, another variety used for vinegar making, another one for table apples, still another one for cakes and cooking. Each specific variety are excellent for its specific use.

Sometimes apples in groceries are no longer crispy and tasty. This must be beacuse of how it is handled in transport. Temperature plays a great part for the fruits' taste. How about trying in another store?

Here, i have a favorite store to buy fruits. He sells the best quality fruits in the city ~ for me he does. Of course there are other grocery stores selling fruits but most are no longer as fresh and crispy as i like my fruits to be.
