Just as the title says. I'm taking a jazz ensemble course next trimester, and I wanted to get a head start to secure a position as a guitarist. I am very new to jazz guitar and was wondering what chords I should learn first. I have been playing guitar for a year, so no need to explain in great detail. Just a few chord names would be fine, for example C7 or Cmaj7. Whatever you know throw at me. Either way, I learn a new chord, so it is a win win situation. Thank you for your help in advance
