- Pete and Repeat were in a boat. Pete fell off. Who was left? - Repeat. - Pete and Repeat were in a boat. Pete fell off. Who was left? - Repeat. - Pete and Repeat were in a boat. Pete fell off. Who was left? - Well, you get the idea... This could go on for such a long time until someone stopped laughing or got so annoyed they walked away. Everyone knows this one: - Knock, knock. - Who's there? - Banana. - Banana who? - Knock, knock. - Who's there? - Banana. - Banana who? - Knock, knock. - Who's there? - Banana. - Banana who? - Knock, knock. - Who's there? - Orange. - Orange who? - Orange you glad I didn't say banana? And one more for now, a cute little song, of which I cannot remember in its entirety: Ms. Lucy had a steamboat The steamboat had a bell Ms. Lucy went to heaven The steamboat went to -- Hello operator Give me number nine If you disconnect me I'll kick your fat -- Behind the 'frigerator There was a piece of glass Ms. Lucy sat upon it And cut her big fat -- Ask me no more questions Tell me no more lies.... And it goes on, but, as I said, I cannot remember the rest! Do you remember any of these? Which are some of your favorites, listed or not listed? Please share. : )

Those were silly. I remember those jokes but at the same time I think we were telling some very different jokes in Elementary School. Here's some sillier ones though. What's Black and white and red all over? A newspaper. What's black and white and black and white and black and white and black and white and red? A nun falling down the stairs. Heheheheh it was early in the morning when I responded to this one and I was feeling a bit silly myself!!! Nice post.

I don't remember the Pete and Repeat thing, but I remember the other two, as well as quite a few other knock knock jokes, a lot of silly songs, jump rope rhymes, etc.

My Aunt use to have book of all kinds of riddles like those ones at her house they are really old. But one I like is this one 1.Smile the world smiles with you frown you frown alone. 2.Don't throw stones unless you live in a glass house. There's alot more but I be here all night typing them all if you what I mean. cd
