| | When my daughter was pregnant, her friends all took photos of her shower, then we got them printed and made up an album for her... It was filled with her family,friends,fun,gifts,and lots of great candid shots..Now along with the babies brag book ,she can show hers too !! Throw away cameras aren't that exspensive or friends who'd be willing to take digital shots for you, and you can get cute brag books at dollar general/family dollar or most dollar stores.The printing isn't that much, wlamart is as cheap as 19 cents a print. So that might help you with a more personal gift. Board books are great or ones that have pop-ups, those are really cute.. | | | | | | |

| |  I had a baby shower and recieved a few good gifts. The one that meant the most to me was a photo book that my friend mona made for me. She got a book from a low cost store and put baby fabric and padding around it. Personalized it with my name and I loved it. I put all my daughter's pictures there.
I love vistaprint.com very much. I use them to make ton's of cards,shirts etc. I just did a shopping bag with my boyfriends name on it. You could make one with the mother and childs name on it. Adding a picture of the mothr in place of the heart on mine.
You could go to micheals and get some baby charms and make her a bracelete with the baby name on it. You could make a chain as well. Vistaprint also have hats. You could personaize this as well. I hope you get some good ideas here. Good luck.

| | I fogot to mention I made my mother a nice shirt with all her grandkids names on it. You could do this for the mother as well. She would love having a shirt to last a life time. You could even put cardboard inside the shirt. Tuck the arms in back of the board and pin it making the shirt inot wall art.
