Selection of makeup for various skin type |
| |
| This is my first discussion on mylot and I would like to share with mylotters my trade secret as I am a beauty expert. Usually people do not know what type of makeup to chose for their skin type so I thought out letting them know about it. People with Dry skin should go for Liquid Oil based makeup as it helps in keeping the face moist and glossy, whereas people with oily skin type should use Powder based makeup as it helps the makeup to remain for a longer duration and will not make your face oily. | | | | | |

| | Thanks for responding. I can give you a remedy for acne. Everyday half boil one carrot and eat with fresh salad and green vegetables. Drink minimum 8 to 10 glasses of water. Mix cloves powder along with sandalwood powder and make it into a paste and apply on your acne. Let me know if you have dandruff problems so that I can give you a remedy. | | | |

| | thanks i always eat fresh veg and drink loads of water but it seems that its hormonal due to the implant i think which acne normally is.Ive found that things can help reduce the amount of acne but never totally clear it up.Ive found using cold green tea bags help with the drying out of spots quite well aswell as drinking green tea as it has anti oxidants in.More than likely when my hormones calm down when im older the acne will go its just one of thos things i suppose | | | |

| | I have very dry skin and have tried a few liquid foundations. I don't know if they were oil based though. But they made me even flakier, and if I didn't have flakes before I put it on then they gave me flakes. I haven't tried cream foundation yet though, and was wondering if that type is good for dry skin. What do you think? | | | | | | |

| | If you mix some amount of water and cream with foundation and apply on your skin then its looks normal. | | | |

| | Thanks for sharing your expertise. I have an oily T-zone though, and the only make-up I like to wear is foundation and lip gloss. I have trouble looking for the best foundation for me because I really want the foundation to disappear in my skin. How do I deal with this? Thanks! | | | | | | |

| | First of all, what kind of coverage do you want? Do you like it sheer or medium to full? Btw, you most probably have combination skin. I have oily/combination skin as well and I use liquid foundation. Revlon ColorStay Liquid Foundation for Oily/Combination skin, specifically. Sometimes I use L'oreal True Match when I feel like going sheer because it has more SPF compared to Revlon. | | | |
