How would you explain you have black eye?

If a friend of yours wants to chat with you with webcam but you can't because you have been punched at the eye and it darkened, how would you explain to your friend about what happen to you? If you send a message that you have a black eye without using the webcam he or she will tell that your just making an alibi to avoid your friend and may refuse to talk for days. On the other hand, you will be called rude or stupid if you let your friend see your darkened eye. So what specifically to do in this situation that saves your friendship.

My friend i have a brown eyes so thats why i cant explain about the black eye thats why my friend

I think that if they were a proper friend as in a true friend that it would not matter if you had a black eye or not aswell as it would not matter how you got the black eye either.It would be better telling your friend rather than them find out another way.A friend is a friend and i would never try to hide or avoid a friend if i had a black eye.

I thought so...yah i can relate to your judgment. However if the friend is a girl its going to take longer to be brave enough to see someone with a disfigured face!
