Do you prefer print books or e-books?

Hi, friends. I've just read an article entitled "school library goes to digital" which says that the Cushing Academy(the very model of a modern New England boarding school) has replaced all the print books in its library with e-books.
In the past few years, the old library was in danger of becoming a relic. Its 20,000-book collection was barely used, administrators say. Spot checks last year found that, on some days, fewer than 30 books circulated.
So the venerable boarding school west of Boston began getting rid of most of the library’s books. In their place: a fully digital collection.
Library watchers say it could be the first school library, public or private, to forsake ink-and-paper in favor of e-books.
Reading David Copperfield in English class? A librarian will gladly download it onto one of 65 Kindle handheld electronic book readers from Amazon.com, which circulate like library books. ...
So whether this digital school library will have a promising future, only time will tell.
Well, then. My question is: Do you prefer print books or e-books?
As for me, I prefer print books most of the time. I don't like staring at the monitor for a long time reading a book as it is quite harmful to my eyes. But there are also times when a book might be too expensive and I see no need to buy it. In such cases, I prefer to download it from internet.
What about you? Hoping for your response.

curling in your bed with a good book is what i call good reading, my friend. that, of course, answers your question. you cannot do that with an ebook, even if through a laptop or an ereader, it's simply different. also, right now, i am back to reading books -- about two to three a week. and i am not talking of paperbacks, either. these books that i am now reading are real hard-bound books, complete with jackets or what the british would call as dustcovers.
