I downloaded an audio book.. now how do I copy to CD? | | | | I just downloaded the book Alice in Wonderland, by Carrol Lewis Stevenson... the orginal version. So now there are 13 phases of the story listed on my My Documents folder. They are listed as Alice 1, Alice 10, Alice 11, Alice 12, Alice 13, Alice 2, ALice 3, Alice 4 and on through 9. This is how they are LISTED on my computer screen of this file. I want to copy this whole story onto CD for my grand kids to listen to on a travel trip in the car. So.. I know to just do a copy thing and it will copy all these files/chapters to the CD, HOWEVER... I want them on the CD in order, 1-13. As they are listed on my screen here, it goes, 1, then 10-13 and then 2-9. If I just copy them with my program (I beleive it is RealPlayer but I also have NERO) will the files/chapters copy as they are listed so the story is not "in order" or will it copy them so that the chapters are in order even tho they are not listed that way? Plus, how do I know if all these files/chapters will fit on one CD? CD's I am using are DVD-R. So, all that said, I need help copying the files/chapters...in order..to a CD/DVD and hopefully only using 1 or 2 CD's total Any suggestions? | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

| | Well you can drag and drop the files into your dvd/cd drive folder on your computer. When you do your computer will give you the option to "burn to disc". If the disc you insirt isn't large enough to fit all of the files, it'll ask you to get a bigger disc. Books like that aren't easily split. But you can do trail and error. Depending on the size of the file (which w you would have seen when you downloaded it) determins what you need. since I don't know the file size or the max copasidy (listed on your cd-r.) I can't offer any more help. | | | | | | | | | | Get Unlimited Audio Books 10,000+ Titles at the Lowest-Price. Start Your Free Trial Now! www.AudioBooks.com/Free_Trial | add comment | | | |

| | The easiest way for you to do this is going to be to use RealPlayer to burn the audio tracks to CD. If your grandchildren will be listening to them in the car, you won't be able to use DVD-R discs for it. You will need to use CD-R's so that the disc(s) are playable on a CD player. To burn a disc using RealPlayer*: 1. Open RealPlayer and go to the Burn tab. 2. In the Tasks panel on the left side of the screen, make sure it says Audio CD next to Select CD Type. 3. Open your My Documents folder. Click on the first track (Alice 1) and drag it onto the right-side panel in RealPlayer. When you release the mouse button, it will queue the track to be burned to disc. 4. Repeat step 3 with as many tracks as you can fit on the disc. There is a gauge at the bottom of the track listing that will show how much space on the disc the tracks you've added to the list will take up. As long as the tracks are listed in order on the track listing, they will burn to disc in the correct order. 5. Stop adding tracks when the disc is full (or as close to it as you can get with full tracks). Click the green button in the left panel that says "Burn Your CD" to start burning the disc. It should eject automatically when it's finished. 6. If you ran out of room, you'll have to repeat steps 3-5 with the remaining tracks to burn a second disc. How many discs you'll need will depend on how long each of the tracks is; most of the abridged versions of new release novels I get in at work seem to run around 3-5 discs. *This was written based on RealPlayer SP, which is the most recent version of the program available from RealNetworks. | | | | | | | coffeebreak (7191)

| | These are the best instructions I could ever have. I even updated Real Player. And followed the instructions perfectly. However...I have the audio book on My Documents and other audio stories (Old Time Radio) that are on the web site and downloadable/copyable from there...but when I drag and drop the individual sections... they don't drag over to the Real Player/Burn tab screen. I tried from My Documents and from the actual web site.. and neither way does the drag and drop work. Nothing goes/stays on the play list I am trying to create on the Real Player screen. What am I doing wrong? | | | | | | | Free CD/DVD Burning Copy & Edit CDs, DVDs, and more... 100% Free to Download Video.PopularDownloads.com | add comment | | | |

| | About the numbers -- can you rename them as 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08 and 09? That way they will be sequential. Got to have the 0s before single digit numbers. | | | | | | | | | | Local Popular Music Check Out Local.com To Find Popular Music In Your Area! Local.com | add comment | | | |
