To control on blood glucose and to stay healthy it is necessary to do physical activity but it is must to consult with doctor because every one has differet requirement of physical activities. If your blood glucose is high then do not go for excercise without consulting with your doctor. and which excercise you can do you must know before going ahead. best of luck who are facing diabetic problem what the opinions of others. ritika

I think the sports which are not tiring and exciting will be suitable for diabetes, such as walking and jogging. The sports is important for diabetes. It will be healthy for them. I love China

So true about consulting your doctor before doing any excercise as a diabetic. My uncle is an insulin injection diabetic and he does quite a bit of walking but we have to monitor him closely when he does anything in the least bit strenous as far a yard work becuase his blood sugars will drop dramatically, even if he eats correctly. We have found him on several occasions sitting in his car with the windows rolled up in the middle of the summer unaware of his surroundings. We then have to take him to the hospital and have an iv administered to bring his sugars back in line.

Currently, diabetes has been ranked as one of the most complicated kinds of diseases in the world, and there are two major kinds of diabetes, type one diabetes and type two diabetes. each type has different phenotypes and features. so anyone in diabetes should make activities according to doctors' suggestions, like you said. As for the causation of diabetes, I just know a little about it, both environmental and genetic factors are the main causations to diabetes. I think regularly having Vitamin B will make some help to the patients in diabetes.

I am sorry I have not answered your question directly in last post. I think jog is a very good exercise for patients in diabetes, because jog can help decreasing their blood glucose while it will not make the patients extremely tired. After jog, it is better for the patients to drink a lot water and also have some vitamins, such as Vitamin b and vitamin c, but don't each high sweet foods, which will increase patients' blood glucose. God bless to diabetic patients.
