I have a question : Law school or psychology
I hate two more years until I finish high school and I do not know which collage to follow..So i thought to ask up if you know some ups and downs or just leave some personal opinions! Law is a money maker...but knowing i will defend people I might avoid in normal life and psychology is a one of my favorites orientations but i do not know how much I'll earn and what possibilities can it unfold ..So please help me!
Have you followed any of these schools?
Do you have a law or psychology related jobs?
Do you have a good income and still be able to have a social life or good free time?
Does it affects your mind [ don't worry ,I can be heartless sometimes so you don't really have to answer this!]

Follow your interest - Psychology. I would say that I had a wonderul time learning Psychology - it's my degree. Without it I wouldn't be using a computer. Do law as a post-graduate if you are still interested; you'll find a way to afford it, don't worry about that now.

You can actually enjoy both, Take law as your main course then have a major in psychology, another possibility.. Its easier to build a career as a lawyer so you can start as a lawyer then go back to school and take psychology, a 2nd course on college after graduation means you will only take the major subjects so you can finish your 2nd course very fast. If you are a lawyer with background in psychology you will be unstoppable because psychological warfare needs elements of law and psychology. You can be super manipulative if you have both skill.

Here's some thought to ponder to help you make your decision about Law School or Psychology. What is your motivation in life? Is it money or making a difference in people's lives. It is my opinion that you are pondering between a high powered law career where you will make a lot of money or a job as psychologist helping people. I'm not saying that you cannot make decent money as a psychologist I am saying that their are some major differences here between your two choice. Yes, I know your thinking as a lawyer you will most likely make a difference in people's lives by protecting them or defending them, but the court of law will have the final call. In my opinion, Law would be like pooring over books everyday trying to come up with persuasive ideas of how to win a case whereas psychology will be more talking and helping people.

Ultimately you will need to make a choice. While I understand that you can get some good advice from myLot we cannot make the decision for you. The best advice I can give is go explore both fields. Interview psychologist and people working in the law professional. Ask them questions about what they can do and if possible ask if you can shadow them for a day. If your school has a program see if their is a way to do an intern in both fields. That way you have some inner-understanding of the two different professions. Keep a journal about your reactions to your interviews and interns, so you can reflect upon the experiences.

Thank you! That's a very good advice..but how Albert said..combining the two might be a good idea. That way I could exploit the both fields.
