Haunted house ?! .. Lets have some fun..

yes you can bring playing cards hehe, as long as you can do something social with friends, bringing a music player is not social lol, playing cards is actually quite a good idea to pass time there :) ... oh yeah voice recorder! .. picnic :D a scary and thrilling picnic hehe, even i haven't been to any haunted place before, it makes me think how would be like to spend a night over there with friends .. i guess all the while we are going to stay there the video camera would be running at the background recording us and our surroundings as well, we might need some extra batteries and tapes to cover up for the whole night.Lets us wait and see.... oh how wonderful that could be but scary as well. :)

i can't think of myself in your position now lol, who else used to live with you, used to live there alone? i could not have stayed there, i just can't if i hear footsteps and doors slamming .. how much time did it take you to get friendly with what used to happen? it sounds so scary...

i am sure i would not want stay in such a place for long, it would be like i intervened but hey i have had never experienced something like this before, so umm i would interested to know if ghosts really do exist. but i am pretty sure if i get to experience something like that a lot of things would come into my mind.

It happened 25 years ago, and I was alone. The owner said me it was haunted when I rented it, but I did not believe at ghosts at this moment. The first time I heard him walking in my bedroom, I was in this house since three weeks. I heard him once or twice a month after that. I tried to take photos, and to put flour in a stair he was using with no results. But I recorded sounds a night he was making a lot of noise in the kitchen, and they are real. After 6 months, I was not careful of him.

My colleagues were laughing about 'my' ghost : I invited six of them for a week-end, and by luck, he slammed two times the closed door of a bedroom where two of them where sleeping the first night : 4 lived in the morning, and never laughed of 'my' ghost after this night.

I have not heard any ghost since I leaved this house.

topffer that sounds quite interesting, you rented a house knowing there were rumours about the place, and you got to experience something that would make some of us freak, and you got used to it too. it is hard to believe your story too but the way you say your colleagues got to experience something when they stayed, wow, it would be so interesting but in that case i don't want to spend the night over there, and alone? noway! lol, and you left the place, i guess no one took it after you left it, interesting to go through, thanks for sharing topffer..

I quit it to work in another town. It is empty only since ten years, after the death of the owner, and has been occupied by a lot of people : some left quickly, some stayed a lot more than me : every occupant heard it and a few said they saw it -- I have never --. It was haunted since at least fifty years.
I was not believing in ghosts before I rent this house, so if you don't want to believe me, it's your choice.

oh no topffer it's not like i don't believe in them at all but it's like i am willing not to believe them coz they scare me sometimes i mean thinking about them, i certainly can't stand that house even for a bit, i don't know how you did, and those who stayed longer than you, some claim to have seen something ph dear, i am wondering how must it have been, anyways it's been quite sometime you left that place for good, quite an interesting incident and i am glad to talk to you topffer. .. a nice spooky story friend.

nice to know you are not bothered much about these things, i am though, even though i tend to believe ghosts don't exist but i am always afraid of something .. just a pillow? well i would give you the best one if you are going over there and if that is all you need lol, alone in such a house, i can't think about myself that way, wish you had stayed in one of the houses in your childhood times but parents would spank anyways.. old forts, i haven't been to one, i would be glad to imagine something when i get there, oh you can say i have a quite an imaginative mind..

There are many caves and old forts in India. I don't know in which place you are....There is ajanta-ellora caves, and in MP, in remote villages there are many such forts to see. I saw them years back, if they have turned to tourists spots, the charm might have lost. Many caves have underground passages which are kilometres long..They are really spooky..

hi tingtong i am at kharagpur, west bengal, doing my studies here and there is nothing to see here lol, i have been to Delhi and seen over there but never got to feel something out of my imagination though, but yeah jantar mantar is quite confusing and they don't let people go in now i guess, there was some rumour that a bridegroom and his party went in there i don't know for what and they all got lost, a very old story i don't know, it seemed they closed that place after that, seems like it's very confusing in there and easy to get lost, anyways such places are actually dangerous but haunted places are another, i can only imagine how it would be if was in a haunted house, it could be real scary, hey i could go there with you.

If you ever get a chance, go to Madhya Pradesh, to a place called Burhanpur in Khandwa district. There is tapti river and on its banks, a fort where Mumtaz mahal died. It was after her death she was taken to Taj Mahal. That fort is haunted. I'll come with you. I saw it 31 years back, just after my marriage. I always love seeing such places. There are many such places in India which are abandoned, in villages. As soon as tourists pollute such places, the ghosts run away and you can no more call them haunted.

I guess the ghosts/spirits don't want to be disturbed and they would leave if many people come over there, and tourist attraction is a huge problem for them, well it would be very interesting to go there with you :) .. a haunted house is small but a haunted fort! it would be very interesting to see the place, and many such abandoned places in the villages hmmmm... sometimes it seems like the ghosts/spirits bug us and we might actually be bugging them.

you seem to be pretty much like me, i guess i would not have dared to go to any house they said was haunted, well at least not alone, friends create excitement and so that is a different thing, well you mentioned a night vision camera, that is awesome! i was thinking about it but forgot to mention, well i guess that would be needed to be carried by the one who can take good care of it lol, anyways, thanks for taking part reneyun, have a nice day.

i would not carry a cd of horror movies please it would add to the fun, just don't want to be excess lol, anyways it would awesome if there was a fireplace in there, we would light it up and gather around talking about ghosts and stuffs while playing cards, wow that could be fun.

Watching scary movies there would scare us already lol, but nonetheless it could be quite exciting if we did that, i don't know if ghosts exists or not and don't want to believe either, anyways... have a nice day friend.

Bad spirits do exists...it's all about evil.

So,having faith and believe in God,bad spirits can't harm you...

yes having faith in God can protect us from them, i have had a weird experience one night sleeping and i felt something was holding my hand well i had started a discussion on that, it was really scary but then i prayed to the Lord to get it away what ever that was, and soon i got relieved of it, it was really a very weird experience, i don't know why i felt like something was holding my right hand, but what ever that was it slowly faded away, all the while i was felt that pressure on my hand i could not move at all!

ohhh...that's really weird my dear.
Maybe you were having some bad dreams or nightmare.
Sometimes,we felt nightmare as if it is real.
Or,maybe,there's really some bad spirit around that's testing your faith and courage.
I also had weird experiences,but,i just shrug the thought of it...never entertain and,it will simply go away.

yeah i don't know what that was, might have been something minor or ... anyways what ever it was i hope it was just a bad nightmare but i know i was wide awake when it happened and after that i was all sweating, i coz i was quite scared after that incident, but the best part was i had faith that God would help me i prayed and soon it went away what ever that was.

cool! it would be interesting, although i would recommend you take along a video camera with you in case something interesting happens, it's really brave of you since you think you can spend the night alone in the house, i can't lol, i hope you have a pretty amazing experience! ...

hi phoenix, it's going to be interesting to go out there with friends will it not? yeah but it could be quite scary if we happen to hear some noises and don't talk about seeing something! we sure want to see things over there, even though it scares us it does make us so curious, and what if upon coming back and watching the videos what if we see the camera caught glimpses of something that we could not see with our bare eyes .. it could be quite scary friend.

yeah it would fun to catch something on the video camera, i would sure be scared to the bone if i happen to see something that my brain could not decipher, it could be nasty out there, and yeah fun anyway, i mean if we only get to hear unintelligible noises, we could wonder if that was something related to the rumours of the house, it could be fun but at the same time there are reasons it could be actually be something we wished we hadn't thought of at the first place.

Biomechanoids were actually fictional creatures in a crazy first person shooter game, Serious Sam. I liked that game very much and I find that word "Biomechanoid" looks actually quite cool, so that's why I chose to have it as my username.
Believe it or not, but that's what I thought when I first saw your avatar! These moves and headbanging are actually very characteristic for Zac Farro, he often plays like that.

you know jonjee i feel guilty of being scared of ghosts at times even though i believe in God .. well so you got to stay at a supposedly abandoned house, what made you stay at an abandoned motel?

Oh and I do believe in god, just not the dead all wailing and floating about in their underwear :-)

hi enterthehole, nicely said, yes what you have written here i have to agree with that, it's like some people are quite imaginative and to some of them it might actually seem like something is there even though it's just their head messing up with them, and hey i guess you would have seen 'the haunted' in discovery channel sometime, it's also due to the added effects of the electromagnetic radiations which can help hallucinate a little bit, yeah that adds a lot i guess, most of the findings show that the claimed haunted houses has had lot more dose of electromagnetic radiation from somewhere, i just don't know what to say about such places, although it would be quite interesting to spend a night and feel what the neighbours talk about so much mhmm.. anyways thanks for sharing, appreciated...
