i can usually read people well but on some of these talk shows especially a few of steve wilkos show episodes i could swear they rigged the machine! even steve said he believed the person wasnt lying and he was a cop for like 12 years.. so my question is..
do you think some shows rig the results to add more drama to their show? they cant use it in court against them so they dont have to worry about some one using it against them if it was faked..
also i thought if you were on certain medications such as anti-depressants you cant have one done because it will read wrong or something..
would a show go as far to ruin peoples lives with a fake test for ratings? what do you think?

i think pretty much All talk shows are rigged now. thank you geraldo and jerry. its all about ratings really.. and i beleive they hire actors to play the part of normal "everyday folk" on every show and make it all scandalous to get people to sit in front of their screens goin "ooooh" and "ahhhhh"

I would have to say it depends on the show. I don't think Dr. Phil would he usually has a guy who used to work for the FBI do them.
As for Jerry, Maury and Steve Wilkos yes I could see them doing that. I also think a lot of those people are actors and 99% of it is fake. I haven't watched Jerry in years I just got tired of it. There can't be that many people sleeping with their in-laws and relatives, and ex-es. I never watched Steve Wilkos they need ratings so I can see them doing whatever it takes.

steve wilkos actually uses an fbi guy thats suppose to be the best or close to the best in the field with his.. dr.phil had a guy on there that failed on molesting his daughter then when he went home to the cops he passed so i dont know wtf is going on there

I think Wilkos used to be a cop right? I am not sure if I am thinking of the same guy you are talking about on Dr.Phil cause that one has been awhile I do recall the guy said he passed when he went home and they were on a third time and the guy was in jail. I haven't seen them since then but it turned out he was molesting his kid. I am sure there are ways to pass a lie detector test which is why they are not admissable in court. They are not reliable.

Lie detectors are not 100% reliable. Its not the show that ruined peoples lives...the people did it, one for going on the show, and two for doing something they should not of that could ruin there lives. I think if your life could possibly be ruined by going on a talk show you should not go on them. I also now a couple of people who get paid for various reasons to go on talk shows, so other than providing entertainment, half the time i dont believe what goes on on them.
