Valentine's Day - Like or Dislike  

I think it's fun and my boyfriend and I do celebrate it... but we don't buy in to the idea of spending a lot of money on each other too much.
Usually we just go out for breakfast or something and hang out together.. but he works afternoons/nights so I generally spend it alone anyways :) but it doesn't bother me.

I do think that couples should have their own special day (this is generally their anniversary).

I agree that it kind of makes couples (the guy especially) feel like they need to buy things and such, but sometimes it's nice to have a special day just devoted to being together. :) besides, if you're in a close relationship it's not hard to just say "hey, instead of spending money lets make dinner together and watch a movie!"

I got this information off of Wikipedia. There was a lot more information if anyone wanted to know any more. Basically what I am trying to say is that Valentines Day is based on people that no one even remembers or has even heard of. Yet millions & millions of people wait for the one day to express their love for one another. Like you mentioned, why wait for that one day. Why not make each other feel special everyday or any day of your own choosing. Why wait until Valentines Day? My husband & I tell each other we love each other every day. We exchange gifts through out the year for no other reason that we love each other. Just today in fact my husband sent me flowers. This is something he does every once in a while to surprise me. It's nice getting flowers & gifts for no other reason then the fact that we love each other & want to express that love.

I very dislike with name VALENTINE"S DAY, at my live no one to make valentine day's for me. if this day come, ussually me and my girlfriends go to my home or go away from her house. I just like if moslem day's come to my live, whenever and forever. I love moslem day and dislike Valentine day's

I think it's fun too. Every Valentine's Day, I have no one to spend it with, maybe just with my friends. I think it's really fun, I don't know why. It seems a happy season and everyone seems happy on that day.

well for me its a beautiful day, but it doesnt matter or mean that the lovers will give a gift to there partners. its just a nice feeling that atleast once a year we are reminded that its nice to love and to be loved.
