i just don't get the idea.
People got their own tastes, likes, and dislikes...and some just don't understand that.
And i think maybe it is not just the eating rice with crackers, lol, maybe it is the difference in your culture. too sad though...you have to separate because of little things...hey girl i think you should fight for your love...what did your husband say about this?

I think your mother in law is being mean. She's just finding a reason to kick you out of the house that is why she tells you that it's the rice with chip issue that has caused the separation. Anyway, you are already married to your husband right? Why not just live in a separate house away from his mother? I mean, it's only rational that once you get married, you move out of the house and start a life of your own. Anyway I don't know much about the Japanese culture but if your husband really loves you he'll do something about it so you won't have to be away from each other.

I think your mother-in-law needs to mind her own buisness . She can eat what she wants & u should be able to w/out any interfence from that busybody. That is ridiculous. Hang in there & eat your crackers.

Your mother in law should not have kicked you out of the house just because of what you eat.She should respect your different taste in food.She should not worry about what other people think about this way of eating. mAybeE she shouldtry it she may like it.It is a shame that she forced you out of your home.Your husband should learn how to stick up for you.Any how do not let her bother you and eat what you like.
