Snake is dangerous or not  

yes they are dangerous, well not all of them but MOST of them. I hate them and I am scared of them. I don't believe that they don't attack even if you don't react because they could be preying on you. They are just to scary for me.

As we fear of snake because we hate their creeping nature or ugly scales on their body,etc. Each person has his or her way of reaction after seeing a snake but 90% of humans do fear of snake because most the snakes are poisonous. Most of humans die of shock even before snake bites. Researchers say that snakes too like humans, fear of human beings and they feel that their life is in danger. It is an instinct reason but not like the one where in movies they show as if Anokonda is hunting for humans beings.. all that is rubbish.. Finally, I too do not like snakes, I even hate to see them anywhere.. Whenever I see a snake my hair on my hands stand up, I do not know why but I hate them seeing...

In the scriptures, the snake most people regarded as enemies. In the Bible (Old Testament) is told that the devil incarnate in the form of a snake, and persuaded Eve and Adam so beguiled and must exit from the Garden of Eden. In the epic Mahabharata, Lord Krishna as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu small defeating five-headed serpent of evil. In one Hadith the Messenger of Allah. there any suggestion to kill the 'black snakes who entered / are in the house'.
This assumption, however, also influence and make most people feel hate, fear, to the snake. Although the real fear was not sufficiently justified, or more likely caused by a lack of knowledge of people is generally against the qualities and dangers that may be caused by a snake. In fact, cases of snake bite-let alone to cause death is very much less when compared with the case of an accident on the highway, or cases of death (by illness) caused by mosquito bites.
Humans do not actually have to be afraid of snakes because the snake itself is actually afraid of humans. Snakes can not chase humans, the slow movement was no match for humans. Snake moving average of about 1.6 km per hour, is the fastest type of snake mambaa in Africa who can run with a speed of 11 km per hour. While humans, by comparison, can run between 16-24 miles per hour.

It is very rare that you come face to face with a snake! one odd snake dropping from a tree a little far off should not have any concern on one that you should panic about.. Just ming your business, it will quietly go off.
In Pachmarhi(M.P.), on a sivarathri day a cobra comes & parks itself with hoods on on a Siva linga. Local people go there and pray and some bold ones even put a tikka on the hood of the cobra-- It stays there for 24 hours and then quietly slips into the oblivion!
