|  Speculation has been mounting that Katherine Heigl is off the show for good. Rumors were spreading that the actress has decided to leave the show after six years to focus on her film career and on her being a mom to her adopted daughter.
If this is true, what do you think would be a good story line to wrap up and finish Dr. Izzy Steven's character in the show? Would you like the idea of killing her like what happened to George O Maley of the last season 5 finale or you do have a better idea on how to finish her off from Seattle Grace?

| |  All good things come to an end. If this rumors are true for Katherine Heigl to leave the American medical drama series entitled Grey's Anatomy then a lot of viewers will be sad especially her fans. I am a big fan of this series not only to Dr. Stevens but the rest of the casts who bring the show into fame.
I do not want Dr. Izzie to die in her character so that she can come back into the said tv series. Her story is a twist and turn on her career and making it big. She deserves a chance for this.

| |  She is not one of my favorite characters, so I will actually be glad to see her go. She keeps saying she wants to leave but then she comes back. I hope they just send her away and be done with Igggy.

| |  An article called "Katherine Heigl confirms she has left ABC's 'Grey's Anatomy'; Her last episode aired January 21" came out in NYDailyNews.com just last Wednesday. So that confirms that she's leaving the show.
However, I hope Shonda wouldn't kill Izzy Steven's character. There should at least be an opening for Katherine to come back someday, even if just as a guest. Like Preston Burke's character, who knows, he might still appear again at Seattle Grace in the future.

| |  I thought that was pretty much decided a long time ago. She left to take a job at another hospital and in the last episode Alex said he had received the official divorce papers. She is probably already gone for good.
