Would you like a real surprise or know that there's one but you have to wait?

I bought my mom a present for her birthday this March 30 and I haven't told her yet. All I told her was that I needed to buy a CD that I like online because I can't find it here. I have to tell her when I buy from the internet because I use her credit card for the PayPal account and I will be the one to pay her or the bank of the credit card. I am thinking, should I tell her that I have bought something? Or should I just really surprise her the day it comes? I'm thinking I won't tell her that I've bought something so that she will be totally clueless. I'm so excited because the CD has been shipped last week and it's on its way. I just hope it makes it here before her birthday.
Just the other day, my mom told me she had a little surprise for me but she told me I will know it later. I think I like it better when I am surprised and I've got no clue than being told there's a surprise and I have to wait.
The wait is grueling, hehehe... By the way, I got some snack from our local supermarket that I've been wanting to try for some time but haven't. I'm glad my mom bought me that.
