| |  I never have, and never would. But one of my friends was thinking about killing herself before. She actually tried once to hang herself but the rope broke. :*( I can't believe it. It broke my heart when I heard about it, but I was soo thankful to God for keeping her alive n making that rope break. I don't know where I'd be without her. She's such a good friend. Unfortunately she is my online friend, and she lives in Scotland while I live in the USA, so I can't help much. :( But it's just SO sad when someone thinks about doing something like that. :( It's horrible, n so selfish because it will only leave grief for those who you left behind.

| |  yes.... one of my friends was going through some very rough times and things didnt look up for so long and he felt the never would. one day something bad happened, worse then normal to him and he couldnt deal with it so he tried O.D.ing on a mixture of pills and alcohol and passed out. he hadnt taken enough of them and had woken up the next day after "sleeping" for 15-16 hours feeling so bad. idk how he got through what was happening, but he is still here today with us. i just hope he is stable enough now to stay strong. dying is easy, living is the hard part...

| |  No! I don't care how bad a situation is IT WILL get better. All down hills have an uphill!
My exhusband committed suicide. Our daughter was 6 months old. She never got to know her father. She is in her 30's now and she is still sad about what happened to him. She has 2 teenage girls. Look at all he messed out on, just because he wasn't getting his way!

| | I THINK for attention. He wasn't getting his way. I think his intent was to injure himself and it backfired on him. Noone knows why. But he had done things like this before when he wasn't getting his way. A month before his death, he had overdosed on a pain killer because I had taken our daughter to the Emergency Room becasue she was having trouble breathing. He didn't want me to take her. When I came home he had taken a bottle of prescription pain killers so I had to take him to the hospital too! He was diabetic and when ever we had an argument and I refused to do things his way, he would eat lots of candy bars or overdose on his insulin. Then he would end up in the hospital to get his sugar regulated but his parents would blame me for the attacks because I wasn't feeding him right. | | | |
