Is it essential to become successful  

I'm doing a lot of this right now, it depends what you mean. A good education is important in your working life but to be a successful friend or sibling its not as important. Learning needs to be lifelong and wide - applying to all sorts of things don't you think?

Success depends on the individual. For my career aspirations education was necessary and more is needed if I want to get to the point where I really want to be. However, I feel that when it comes to business you can get away with a high school education. because if you understand how to run a business -say your family has this background- then it'll be a cinch for you. I saw on Yahoo! homepage the other day how some high schoolers can make $60,000 a year...talk about shooting me in the face and i have a four year degree and can't even start off that high even if I were jumping >.<

Not at all. Lots of people have been highly successful without being highly educated. It's important to be focused on what you want to do, and to refuse to give up when faced with failure! Somebody said that failure was the path to success. Education helps, of course, but personality, hard work, and dedication matter more.

u don't really need to be educated for u to be successful...its just that with the way things are moving around the world its better to be educated than to be left behind.

Education with hard work will take us to success.Only education can not fetch the success.There are many educated people do not go for an employment if they do not get suitable employment.Some, educated people take up the job whatever it is and come up in life.It depends on the person.

Well I think graduating from college is enough to get a decent future. It would be better if you graduate with honors, but it's also alright if you just finished college without any problems. I think success is the end-point of everything, that no one gets it in just a matter of seconds. If we are successful, then it only means that we worked hard to get promoted or the like.

Education is necessary that too from a reputed institute, but luck also matters, people who know how business done need not have any qualification they can click anywhere, to have a good job it's necessary to have a good education...

Education is important if you want to achieve your dream job, but you can be successful even without finishing school, it just depends on how you handle things especially money. If you're good at it, then you can be rich even without finishing school.

As much as I would like to be successful, I believe it is more important to be happy. :)
What would I do with my so-called success if I can't be happy? If you're happy, even if you haven't attained much, you can feel successful. :)

Well for me , being successful in life is being never give up in anything , the fighting sprit to achieve something !
