| |  Astronomers are of the view that there was a big bang around 14 billion years ago.Prior to the big bang all matter was concentrated on a tiny space.After the big bang the universe began to expand.Out of the remnants of gas and dust arose various stars and planets that we see around us.I feel this is the most logical explanation I've come across.

| |  Well the universe begin in a small point, which is so called big bang theory. The origin is a point, which is expanded with involving the air, gases, spaces, origin of hot gases compressed in pressure, light rays, slowly the sun,planets,(earth),meteors, halleys comet, natural satelite, water, Oxygen, gravity, species, dinosaurs, apes and finally the man kind!

| |  I believe in the scientific view to this question.. .The world was created through Big Bang... And the mass that came out from that bang, spread continuously.. the more it travelled in all directions, the slower the speed of evolution got!
Your question 'how did this world and universe begin?' doesn't sound proper... It didn't begin!!! It just happened... There was no one to pull the strings... It was just a process (just as life is!)...
I firmly believe in the 'big bang theory' and its past effects... have fun!

| |  I think some spiritual being created the universe, but I don't know what, or how. The big bang could have been created by a God or it could have been an accident. There are some things that are too big to even try to comprehend. But in my personal opinion it is highly unlikely that everything is an accident...the world is too beautiful to be an accident.
