Black Bird by the Beatles  

I am a fan of their all time masterpiece sgt pepper's lonely hearts club band, album,and all that came later.i read in their autobiography that when they came out with this album, Brian Wilson of "the beach boys" who were among the top composers in that era just gave up working on his own masterpiece album when he heard sgt pepper, stating that it is no way he can top that
album,and yes,till now it to me is still my all time masterpiece,Lucy in the sky,(allusion to LSD) a day in the life (true story off the death of a politician in a horrific traffic accident),with a little help(weed induced composition)cold turkey,mother(lennon screaming in anguish over death of his mother and so on,avery track has a tale ,brilliant lyrics,genius musical arrangement,just listen to the track of sgt pepper and the ending crescendo,puts one almost into a trance as the orchestra builds up and abrutly crashes.Sgt pepper is among the 1st album by any rock band influenced by the psychedelia and experimentation of drugs in the 70s era and translated brilliantly into music by the beatles.
B4 n after psychedelia,From cheesy saccharine love songs b4 to heavy soul searing messages of the beatles music,thats why its is so brilliant and acknowledged as a masterpiece by all their musician peers.Lennon and Mccartney at the zenith of their composing genius!

That's also my favorite song from the beatles. I first heard in the movie I am Sam as original soundtrack. I liked how mellow it is and how the guitar was played. It is the song that practically introduced me to the beatles so I really like it. Up until now I still listen to it and I never get tired of doing so.
