Has anyone ever told you that your pet acts just like you?

I've been hearing this from a lot of people recently, from my family to some of my friends. They tell me that my chihuahua, Daisy, really acts like me sometimes. An example would be the way I meander around the house. I like to drag my feet and apparently my dog is like that too. If she's not chasing after a cat or something she can be one of the laziest dogs around. My mom and sister finds it very funny when I'm walking around the house with Daisy trailing after me. Anyone who knows me tells me that they can totally tell that she's my dog. It's kind of funny and cute. So, do your pets have any behaviors that are similar to your own?

No, I hadn't heard that. Usually what people say is that a pet looks like it's owner. Sounds like you really have a connection with your dog.

Yeah, I've heard of that too. Luckily, I don't think anyone has compared my pet's appearance to mine yet. I guess you're right. I've never really been a pet person before so I was really surprised by how attached I was to my dog. I've only had her for a bit over a year but it feels like a lot longer.
