Hi, Kumar1232009. If the air conditioner is turned off, you best believe that I will have a cool fan circulating in the room with me. I will not sweat while I am sleeping. I will never be able to sleep being in a hot and muddy bedroom. If my apartment gets very hot at night, we will turn the Central Air, on auto for a while, and then we will turn it off when it gets cool enough for us.

yes we know the feelings. me and my roommate started going to the gym and it seems that this problem is going to be solved at last... he will not be needing the hot temperature in order to release his toxins by perspiring anymore lol.... it seems that our gymning really helped a lot... thanks..

i don't have asthma but i have trouble breathing without AC due to heat stress and i easily sweat. i just don't know why some manage to sleep perspiring.

i guess its more important to turn on the AC specially when you sleep so you will feel relax and if you have AC that automatically turn off and change with the fan then that would be better so theres no need for you to wake up in the middle of the night just to closed it.

during AC season, we usually turn off the AC only if we clean. we're doing this procedure with my old roommate.

no, my friend. i hardly use the room airconditioner. even in my home office, an old and reliable fan to stir the air is sufficient to make me comfortable and on a working and thinking mode. even while sleeping, as your topic conveys, i have no need for an aircon, i have big screened windows, even a screened door overlooking a garden. those two openings give me sufficient natural ventilation. besides, my house is on a highground, so i enjoy more wind and air. no need for an airconditioner, even during hot summer nights...

wow, i love country style too and i look down at our situations here against yours there. you know summer temperature here will range to 50 or even up to 55 or 60 degreesC with a very high humidity. though windows aren't applicable during summer here, it is also very small as it is especially designed against sandstorms attacks.

Well, sometimes even i tried.Best part of sweating is, when you sweat more and then turn you fan or AC, that fraction of transpose on your body is really great. I tried sometimes.
