| |  Hi benny,
I have never been fishing, it never really came up between my husband and I. To be honest I used to think years ago (when I was much younger) that it must be really boring. Now I'd do almost anything for a bit of peace and quiet!...that includes fishing!
It must be really thrilling though to eat something that you caught yourself.

| | he he he yeah I must admit I started to go sea fishing off our local pier last summer great just to get out with the eldest and spend quality time lol,
we have caught all sorts from star fish, codling, pollack and a scorpion fish eeww lol.
Though not many decent sized cod this year hoping the mackeral season is better in may time as lurve mackeral. | | | |

| |  I have never been fishing, although my father goes whenever the weather is right for it (Im not sure what type of weather is right) He catches a lot of trout, some of it he throws back in, some he brings home. A few summers ago he used to bring so much home that we were giving it away, it turned into a bit of a joke, people used to come to our house and leave with fish! He does all the hard work e.g. cutting off head, removing bones ect, so we just get to enjoy the fish!

I go sea fishing and to be honest its just nice to chill out and spend time with the eldest son as he sometimes comes with me. We are building up an album of fish caught he he he for when he is old and grey and can show his sons and daughters lol long after I have departed this world.
Yeah I gut the fish, but always cook it with the head and tail still on. | | | |

| | Perhaps river, Im not sure to be honest, he goes out with a rod and comes back with fish, thats all I know to be honest lol! He did try to get me interested but it didnt work unfortunately, although we do have other shared interests, if I ever have a son then I know he will take him with him and show him, I can imagine that he loves bringing home food that he has caught. never done river fishing as you need a permit to do that where as sea fishing you do not. | | | |

Plus its great to catch your food and eat it as opposed to buying fish from the shop thats prob be sat around for weeks at a time in the under belly of a trawler. | | | |
