are candle light dinners too old school?  

There is nothing wrong that I can see being old-fashioned. Having a candle light dinner is a romantic set up for you and your lover I believe. That would be a good time to talk and know more about each other in an intimate scene. I don't think that making that evening special is the key. I believe that it is better to make your lover special that evening. Have a wonderful dinner tonight.

I would love to have a candle-lit dinner with my boyfriend!! I am 29 and I think the only time I have eaten by candle light was when I was little and my mom did it as a fun little "grown-up" treat for us kids! I don't think it is old school at all, but rather sweet and romantic!!

Some old things are still the same sweet things, i don't think the candle light dinner will old fashioned soon, well it all depends upon you and your partner.. if you ask me i would love to have one.

I think candle light dinners are wonderful!! Back when we were dating I recall a couple of times my boyfriend at the time (now hubby!) had candle light dinners for me. They were great and so romantic. We just need to do them more often now even though we're married. Keep the spark alive!
