How to say No to an insurance agent friend?  

Just tell him that though you appreciated the time he took to explain everything to you, you're simply not interested at this time. Its your money, so don't feel bad about just telling him you don't wish to take advantage of his proposals.

I also had encountered such a situation many times since i got my job. Because all of those proposals for an insurance policy are from my friends i was really in trouble that i cannot plainly avoid them. But after encountering more situations, i became experienced literally mastered in avoiding such insurance, money chain etc. I will give my time to let them explain their plans and patiently hears what he/she had to say. After that when they talks about taking an insurance coverage, i will humbly and softly says to them that sorry dear friend, but i had already 2 insurances from here and there and tells some of the other company names and speaks about their plans and says that i had taken this policy since past few months so i have no capacity for more investments otherwise if i did knew about your agency a few months before, surely and obviously i would be taking insurance from you only. Why didnt you told this to me a few months ago?

Lolz, now friend will almost be convinced and a few more talks to return him happily and leaving me myself happy. Folks, i am playing tricks not because i had any jealous towards my friend earning bucks, but because i may be having some other plans to purchase something and might be saving some money for that purpose. If i takes his insurance, then my whole monthly budgetting need to be recalculated and it will lead me into bottleneck situations at month ends. So, an easy escaping ;)

Just say straight no right way. The longer you hesitate to say it the more chances for him to assume he can win your yes. If you think there's no way he can convince you then then don't make him think your a potential client.

i could imagine your situation. and as he is your friend it is really hard for you to deny.
but i think the straight no will not be good. you should pretend for something. that you need some time to invest as there are some other responsibilities on you and you are not in the state to share them.

LoL. I don't think i'll say no to insurance if i don't have any yet.. :) I view it as something very important next to health care insurance. :) My whole family benefits from it especially our mum who goes in and out of the hospital every now and then. But then again, why not tell your friend that you will consider his offer and let him know if you've decided to take the offer. :)

I think it is very difficult to say "NO" to a insurance friends.. because what he feels after saying by us no.. so i think.. if you are not interested in any insurance policy then you say "NO freely.. because it is question of your money..and if you say yes.. in any hesitation or by any pressure.. then after that you can face some problem with your policy.. so if you are not interested then say no.. without any hesitations.. have a nice day and keep mylotting always..

I think your being closed-minded in the insurance offered by your friend. Just try to think of the advantages and disadvantages of getting an insurance.If you really think that it is better to not get an insurance, just tell him that you are not interested in getting an insurance and try to refer some other friends that may be interested.

I mean, if it's your friend, he won't force you into an insurance plan as if you were a customer, but he will treat you as a friend, and he won't be offended if you don't want to be a customer, so don't hesitate and tell him the truth

just say no.
