my acer laptop restart itself  

Possible problems: a) Virus b) Computer itself

1st of all, I want to know what antivirus you are using.Trend, Kaspersky, NOD are one of the best now in the market. Kaspersky is known to detect those trojans and worms easily.

2nd, It could be computer problem or defective product check if your warranty. Bring it to the shop and have it checked if its a problem with the hardware.

3rd, Reformatting could be a solution. Back up your files and reformat.

I have encounter this problem few times and it may be due to over hating.Is he using laptop continuously?Is he keeping it on closed surface?There is this fan below it make sure its working otherwise it may go down suddenly due to over heating.
Other reason may be a virus.Upload a good virus scan.One more problem can be a there this file in PC ,if you delete is by mistake or if virus messed up with it ,computer restart itself automatically after some time.

because the viruses cannot be scanned by the many kind of the antivirus,
of course, it maybe is the hardware problem ,but it is so little.........

Maybe you have to little ram or not so good cpu and you do a bunch of stuff at the same time. If that's the case upgrade ram. My pc sometimes restarts when i watch mp4 movies so try to connect restarts to a certain thing you do. Also you can go to my pc wright click on disc c and choose tools and check for errors and also defragment boot. Alo a great free software is ccleaner...you can delete registry entries and other stuff you don't need. Hope any of this helped. Good luck

First thing to do is the break down where the issue is , we need to find out if it is a hardware issue or an o/s issue.
Go to the system bios and leave the PC there, if it restarts in bios, then it is a h/w issue, take it back to the vendor for a repair or replacement.
If it is a windows problem, the quickest way to fix it is do a quick format and reinstall after backing up the data......

Is your power has earth connection.
