our heat wave is over!  

it only got into the mid 50's here, but it was breezy and cool and you cool feel the coolness the minute you walked outside and it was a bit refreshing here after all that excessive heat for the last few days.

yeah it is not good to go from one extreme to the other that is very rough on our systems and that can cause a lot of us to get sick when that happens and I don't blame people that don't like it.

I had to put on an extra layer after answering... brr...

The heat and I don't get along too well and the last few days was so hot and uncomfortable here that I was glad that it cooled off a little, but it was really breezy and made it feel more like a winter day then a spring one.

Yes it broke some records the other day for heat this early in the year and we had to have the air conditioning on in the car and the windows open and the fan on in the house.

I feel bad for anyone that has to deal with the excessive heat like we had the last few days and I am glad for it to cool off, but I would like it more if it was around 60 instead of 50 that can make for some cold nights.

yes I am the same way I prefer the cooler weather the really hot weather and me have never co-existed very well together and I prefer it to be more on the cooler side not cold cooler.

yeah it is tough when you have it go from one extreme to the next we went from cold and winter weather all the way to extreme heat and summer weather then the next day cool and cold and windy and raining and much cooler and colder weather and the sun was nowhere in site today.

ARgh, I'm having headaches now from the heat. too bad no one is here to go with to the pool.

wow you are still getting snow?

I guess I should be thankful that the winter seems to be over here and that it was just hot and not really cold and snowing still as it wasn't that long ago we were still getting winter type weather we even had some sleet most of a day not that long ago.

We have just been getting rain, which is pretty typical here for this time of the year.

yeah i can sympathize with you there about the sunburn as it has always been easy for me to get burned and that is why I don't stay out in the sun too long.

That was a pretty funny joke that dad said about the weather.

I hope you and you family had a good time at your resort always nice to have some family time not as easy when we get older to do that.

thanks! we always make sure we schedule a family activity during special occasions and holidays. i'm pretty sure before the summer is over we would probably schedule a couple more of summer outings at a different resort. all the kids are looking forward to that. especially with the food galore and given the opportunity for the kids to spend time with their cousins. hehe

when I have some free time I will get on here for a little bit or if I think of something I believe is worthy of a discussion I will try to put it up before I forget about it.

It was a beautiful spring day here just like I like it cool in the low 60's and a bit of a breeze, but very nice and comfortable.

My mom wanted to go shopping out of town today so it was nice to have a cool day on which to do that.
