Is baseball still America's game? the old saying was baseball, applie pie, hot dogs and peanuts made for a great outing at the ball game. It still is a pretty good outing today.
It is still the most affordable of the the major sports, costing a family aof 4 50 dollars for tickets and another 50 dollars for snacks.
The kids love being outdoors and feeing the sun on their face and possible having a ball hit at them. Baseball is still a great game.

although i am new to america, i try to follow all of the american sports. i like football and basketball but baseball come a distant last. the reason for this is that it seems most of the time the only person doing anything on the field is the pitcher...most of the times the hitter doesnt hit the ball or when he does its either foul or caught by the outfielders.. i rarely see anyone sweat playing baseball. and another thing, is it a theme for everyone to spit during baseball games...everyone spits, the players coaches even the umpires. anyway, maybe i just dont understand the whole baseball culture yet.
