Anyone is using Windows & Ultimate version? I had installed it and it worder very nice. But sound did not work on my PC. When I see there is a sound icon on the tray when I click on that it was fine but it was not working at all. I have Intel 915G Mother board. P4 3GHz processor. I have gone through the google and installed the latest realtek audio driver though the audio did not work for me. When I re installed the Windows XP it worked fine. It worked very fine with no issues. Is my processor being so old is the reason for Windows 7 not working on my computer? Anybody has faced this problem please advice me.
I have windows 7 OS (laptop) but the sound driver is High Definition Audio, for Xp (desktop)its Realtek, Goto to Control Panel and click Sound properties, Configure your sound devices.
I did a lot of circus to work the sound properly. I even called system admin he came and checked and told me that P4 processor does not support Windows & audio driver and I have to get the latest processor.
