out of concern for the health of my children, i recently made a check on the household products we use to clean our homes. i was appalled to find out and how could i have not noticed that some of these contain toxins and pollutants which are both harmful to our health as well as the environment. i'v since thrown them away and am looking for some eco-friendly alternatives which are safer, greener and perhaps cheaper. anything to share my dear myLotters. appreciated very much! :)

"The main ingredient in the Lysol products is benzalkonium chloride, which is highly toxic to fish and other aquatic life, mildly toxic to birds and only slightly toxic — passing as safe — to mammals." (http://1800recycling.com/2009/11/lysol-harmful-helpful/)
