are you a philippine basketball fanatics? (i'm specifically referring to PBA)  

i love philippine basketball too...im a die hard Ginebra fans.My grandma opened my eyes about basketball watching the GinKings.They have the "never say die" attitude which makes them a crowd-favorite team.they have that since the first time i've seen them play,25 years ago.

I started to get so into the PBA was during the 1993 season. Actually, the very first time I watched a PBA game on television was during the 1992 Governor's Cup semifinals. Tony Harris was still the import of Swift during that time and the won the championship during that conference. From 1993 until now, I'm a big San Miguel Beer fan. Though I root for the Beermen, I never missed watching a single PBA game during that time. San Miguel was still made up of Allan Caidic, Ato Agustin, Samboy Lim, Alvin Teng, Hector Calma, Franz Pumaren, Dong Polistico, and Yves Dignadice to name a few. Kenny Travis was their import during that time and they defeated the mighty Swift Mighty Meaty Hotdogs in the finals despite the presence of super import Tony Harris. From that time, some notable players wore the SMB uniform such as Nelson Asaytono, Paul Alvarez, Danny Ildefonso, Danny Seigle, Olsen Racela, Freddie Abuda, Dondon Hontiveros, Marc Pingris, Mike Cortez, and lately, making up the super star studded SMB cast some big names such as Arwind Santos, Joseph Yeo, Alex Cabagnot, and Jonas Villanueva. Some notable imports, aside from Travis, are Lamont Strothers, Larry Robinson, Terquin Mott, Stephen Howard, Kwan Johnson, and Gabe Freeman. SMB is by far the winningest team in the PBA and is the only remaining team since it's conception in 1975.

I have never rooted for any other team in the PBA other than the San Miguel Beermen. The memories of me watching PBA games back in 1993 is still very fresh in my head and at times, I watch some clips of those in YouTube. Those are some really good old days.

Back in the elementary year til now I am rooting only for one particular team. I am an avid San Miguel fan. The first time I watched PBA in our neighbor (because we cant locate the signal of the PBA in our TV),Samboy Lim was the player I admired as he glide for the basket effortless. Until now, with the likes of Dondon Hontiveros, Danny Ildefonso, Arwind Santos, Jay Washington, the San Miguel Beermen will try to defend the 2010 PBA Fiesta Conference.

I'm a san miguel beer fan ever since I started watching PBA. My all-time favorite player is Allan Caidic. I think he's the best 3-point shooter that ever played the league. I also like the two Danny's, Siegle and Ildefonso when they were young and a lot faster.
