Do you keep or save your coins?  

Yes...I have a huge jar that I put all the change in....it does add up...much faster than you think it would.

Yes, in fact I do stash my coins. I however, won't use them unless I am in dire need of money since I'm a student and there are times in a month where I don't even have a dime to spend on food. Also, I play low stake/limit poker using my coins with my friends for fun.

When I was young I do. But now I don't. I realize that by using my coins. I can save more.

I save the biggest coins in my currency. It´s also part of my vacation money (I also save all my online earnings). The lowest, I leave in the kitchen and use them to buy eggs.
I wouldn´t throw away a coin no matter how low value it is.

Yes I have a something like plastic box which can separate the value of coins,from $1o-.05 cents lol. In my place we have a $10 coins which I use to keep for general purposes.I find it useful to have coins ready for some small transactions or purpose.

i use to save coins but once it will amount to about 10 dollars, i get it and buy some stuff... lol

Hi! I also keeps my coins. I actually have some coin collection from as old as my great grandpa. My mother thought me to put some coins in every corner of the house inside before the new year eve comes. And never collect them. Just let it stay there for the whole year.
The coin collection that I have, some of it are can be sold out or can be bid. Many co-coin collectors that I know is asking me to sell it all to them. But I chose to keep them. Not for myself. But I do believe that if I will keep them for another long years, time will come that the price for each coin will get higher in he market. As I know, the older the coin, the higher price you can get :)

i did this last year
i was saving all coins i was usually leaving with the line "keep the change" :)
after almoust a year i ended up with a big amount ... wich may seem nice but i had some difficulties getting rid of... not many salesman are fond of this currency and i was alawys around my neihborhood trying to buy cheap things so i don end up handing sacks of coins to buy a botle of coca cola :)
It s ok to save this way as long as you have a source that can exchange it from time to time.

My family saves the coins we get from either the grocery store or wherever we get loose change. It come in really handy if you need a little money now and then. Now even today we have about half a bowl of change and I will probably go and cash it in to get some money for gas.

I save all of the change I get, store it in plastic box and wait until it gets semi-full to take it to the bank coin counter, it usually adds up to a few hundred dollars when I go to the coin counter which is plenty good for me.

It's kind of shocking how much some people save up in change, one of my friends used the coin counter with a few bags of small change she got while shopping, and she literally had enough to go on a vacation. Guess the old saying "every penny helps" isn't a joke.
