Sigh. I'm only 17, and I already have under eye bags and dark circles. I never really noticed it cuz I always wore glasses. But I recently got contacts and you can notice SO much!! My dark circles aren't THAT bad, they are more like lines at one spot in both of my eyes, but the bags you can definitley see them. It looks puffy, and makes me just look very odd. :/ I don't know if it's lack of sleep or what. Could years of wearing glasses do anything? Because during school days I usually only sleep about 6 hours, which I know is reallyyy bad. But this week we've had spring break and I've been sleeping probably 10 hrs a day but I still have the undereye bags and dark circles! :/ so I don't get it. Does anyone know any remedies, both home and store-bought, that work for these problems?

I stumbled in the internet months ago that 8 hours of sleep are for kids. For grownups, it is recommended to sleep 6 hours. They got this study that there is a chance that will lessen your life span when you sleep beyond that time. I don't know if it is true.
Based on my experience, the more hours I spend in sleeping, the more worst my eye bags can get. I don't know the reason behind it. I think that restlessness while sleeping affects a lot :D

The best way is to get enough sleep. Eight hours a day is a must for you and you should avoid getting your eyes too tire. Staying too long in the computer is not advisable. Give your eyes enough rest. Also putting cold potato extracts around your eyes or cold cucumber slices will help a lot to soothe tired eyes. I also recommend applying ice around your eyes. These could help you.

There are reasons why most women have dark circles under the eyes, if you're stress, lack of sleeps, you smoke, poor diet or it can be also hereditary. But I suggest that you should treat your dark circle with a hydrating facial mask twice a week to reduce the discoloration. Cucumber also can help in refreshing your skin. I fyou want to hide your dark circles you can use concealer.
