Actually, that's not true. It really depends upon the persons involved in the marriage. It varies from case-to-case basis. We can't really base conclusions from what is always portrayed in the media or from what we see in others.

I can attest that that's not true because with my parents, my father has almost all of the control, and my mom is the "victim" most of the time.

not all men suffer. according to my observation that more victims are women. most women only according to the husband. very beautiful, even if a husband and wife give and take, so no one need suffer. if the couple would always be able to tolerate each other there would be no suffering. I always wanted to like this, give and take, mutual understanding, and always try our best to partner. even though my life is not like that, I hope someday I will be happy with my husband.

I don't think that's a fact. It is not men who became victims of marriage but women as well. It would depend on the couple if they let themselves be deceived and get into marriage without even knowing each other.

I dont think men are always being victim of marriage. Some times woman also be the victim of marriage. Its depend we can conclude men or women as victim of marriage.
