Another mvp for King James? What do you think and why? |
| |
| The way Lebron James is playing, it looks like another mvp award for him. He is really playing very well. His closest rival would be Kobe Bryant but Kobe has been inconsistent with his performance. Although no one can really question the fact that these 2 players are really very valuable to their respective teams, its a matter of whose hungrier and more focus. | | | | | |

| | Yeah I think Lebron will win it again this year, he's been the most valuable to his team. The Cavs would be horrible without him. | | | | | | |

| | i agree with you. lebron james is the man. he should get the mvp award this season because of his overall performance and value to the team. he has matured from an individual player to a team player and that's important for the cavs. | | | |

| | LeBron James really deserves another MVP award. He's among the leaders in scoring, is basically the statistical leader in almost all category for the his team, and led the Cavaliers to the best finish for the 2009-2010 season. James is simply just dominating the NBA. He could either carry the whole team on his shoulders or get everybody involved, either way, James is just so good. He's also among the top defenders in the league, probably in the top 3. He's averaging at least a block and a steal per game and is one of the very few who could change the phase of opponent's offense (Dwight Howard and Josh Smith the other players). James has evolved into a leader which is far more important than statistics. Late in the season when the Cavaliers decided to sit James out for the remainder of the season, they barely won a game and really struggled without James, clearly an indicator how important James is for the Cavaliers and how much of an impact he is to the team's success. Kevin Durant is a second placer for me. Durant have evolved into a star and became the youngest player to win the scoring title, even outdid James himself in the process. Oklahoma City is barely a lottery bound team last season and became a 50-win team this season. Head coach Scott Brooks is also to be credited for the Thunder's massive success but it was Durant who mostly provided the spark on the court. With a minimal support, Durant is basically carrying a lot of Oklahoma City's load. Though Durant is the scoring champion, James still leads him in almost every other category which is a strong point in James' case. Kobe Bryant is third for me. Bryant have successfully led the Los Angeles Lakers back to the number 1 seed in the West and in their quest of defending their title. Bryant's numbers have dwindled a bit but his leadership remains great, proof tat he remains the Lakers' top player despite the presence of Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum, Lamar Odom, and Ron Artest. A 60-win season should have been Bryant's key to win the MVP considering the fact that the Lakers is a very deep team and he's surrounded with very good players. LeBron James is no doubt still the king of the NBA and he should lead the Cavaliers to a title this season to ice his status as the NBA's best. | | | | | | |

| | "Consistency and Leadership" is what Lebron James has proven this season. Between Kobe and James, Kobe has the edge based on leadership but for this season James seems having and advantage than Kobe Bryant. There are many buzzer beater clutch shots that Kobe has made, but Lebron has still the edge with his all around game leading the way for the Cavs the best record in this season. Depending on the outcome of the playoffs,Lebron is still up there playing like a man possess and an MVP-like Perfromance. | | | | | | |

| | Off course LBJ. He is better than anyone of NBA. In offence, no one can stop him when he what to score, in defence, he can be anywhere like a flash as the court is too small for him. Any team with him could be a championship contender even it is the worst team last year. He will get his first championship this year. | | | | | | |

| | If leBron doesn't win it this year, then the voters should be considered clinically insane. Kobe continues to lose body parts, Durant isn't at optimum level just yet(which is kinda scary, because he has that crazy long wingspan and can still improve his game), and guys like Wade Chris Paul can't win it unless they are on a winning team. Seriously, who had a better year than LeBron? Dirk? Dirk proved to me this season that he isn't a marshmallow(something I started calling the guy after that incident against New Orleans a few seasons ago in the playoffs), but he wasn't playing THAT well this time around. | | | | | | |

| | LeBron without question should win the MVP award. He totally can dominate a game, and not just by scoring. He runs the floor better than any man his size. Passes the ball very well, rebounds, blocks shots and of course scores at will. And don't even try to stop him in the open court on a fast break. He does it all. Right now he stands alone in the MVP race. | | | |
