How do you properly clean a flat screen LCD TV without damage?  

What I do to clean my lcd is: I usually take two clean cotton clothes(like the dish ones).One of them is slightly wet and the other one dry. First I clean the screen with the wet one and then straight away to not to leave any marks on I dry the telly. That's it. It doesn't involve any chemical solutions that could damage your tv. Just water.

I use my camera lens cleaner it's like a piece of thin paper. It removes all the dots and finger prints without any scratch

Hi, apples99. I think that Pledge wipes would be a good idea. They have the formula that you can use that is safe on appliances. I think that this would be fine to use. It will not damage your T.V. You should only use the formula that is suitable for your T.V.

i clean it with the tissue papers thats my best way other clothes may damage the screen

I dont know about this as we have never owned an lcd tv long enough for it to need the screen cleaned
We did buy one - it stopped working within a couple of days so we just went back to using the old box type telly we have had for over a decade and its still in perfect working order

I use two soft, clean cloths (like the ones you use to clean spectacles) and gently wipe the screen down. Don't wet the cloth keep it try and gather up as much of the dust and grime as possible.
