The method you learn a foreign language  

I am an Indian and my mother tongue is Hindi.My second mother tongue is Oriya,the language of the state I live in.I learned English as a foreign language.When I was a student the teaching of English used to begin from the sixth standard.I improved my knowledge of English by reading newspapers and books in English.I think reading and writing in a foreign language is the best way to better your knowledge of that language.
