|  What is the best game you've played lately, old or new. I have recently reloaded Starcraft Broodwar in anticipation of the release of Starcraft 2, and it is amazing, to this day. I have to say as well, just picked up Mass Effect 2, finally, after a playthrough of the original Mass Effect on PC so I could carry over my character. Mass Effect 2 is, to me, the absolute best RPG/Shooter ever developed. I get as much as I want from each of the 2 genres, and am loving the story. I think I have a problem, though, because I may be getting addicted to scanning for minerals... hehehe.

| | Can't tell you which game is the best but Mass Effect 2 is definitely a good choice and in additional I recommend Dragon Age Origins also by Bioware. | | | | | | |

| | Absolutely, I've played through that game two times already. Amazing. I have yet to go back and play all the Origins stories, but I'm sure I will. I kinda overdosed on it when I played it the 2 times back to back. Especially the second, with a mage, was really fun, but seemed a bit overpowered. | | | |

| | Mages in DAO is too powerful and that's maybe the reason they are confined to the magi tower on an isolated island and supervised by templars for proper use of their magic ability. Not as what is recommanded in the official guidebook, my team is composed with 3 mages (Me as evoker, Morrigan as controller & Wyne healer) and one Alistiar the tank.
As my point of view, for PC RPG games, Bioware and deceased Black isle rank the 1st, Blizzard 2nd, Obsidian 3rd. | | | |

| | Fallout 2, GTA San Andreas, TES3: Morrowind (plus expansion packs), Divine Divinity.... I like old games... 2 reason:
1. These things won't eat your VGA
2. My PC can't handle the new one

| |  The best pc game I've played recently in my opinion is burnout Paradise. Need for speed world is good too, but it is still beta and the servers seems to be too weak.
I like shooters too, but I play mainly counter-strike 1.6 because it is fun :)

| |  I agree about Starcraft Broodwars, I tried playing it again before going to SC2's Campaign and it still has it's own magic of still being a GREAT Strategy game upto this time... I mean it's more than a decade and it's still better than other RTS =)
hmm maybe I'll try to checkout this Mass Effect game coz I'm looking for a "something different" game to play than my usual RTS favs. =)
hmm but for the "BEST game I played lately" hmm... maybe I'll pick Company of Heroes! (my favs was Warcraft 3, Command and Conquer series and Starcraft) for me, it's hard to replace CoH for any other RTS as of now that's why I'm still looking for a new genre or type of game to play with aside from RTS games.
