Hi umadper, having the three daily meals together with all the family members together provide the good opportunity for the people living under one roof to promote the well and intimate family relationship. How nice it's to share feeling and idea with one another so close sitting together
But it's rather disappointed that most of us have our respective busy time and could hardly find the suitable to eat the three daily meals together all the time.
I go for work in the afternoon and my hubby a pensioner now. He needs not go to office anymore. I'm happy that I still can enjoy taking breakfast and lunch together with him everyday. My hubby always comes back to home late after his evening jog. What's more he still has to take shower and this and that. I can't wait for him and I usually take my dinner alone at around 8.15 pm. After that I enjoy watching my favorite tv program.
Happy posting

Thanks for the pencil mark umadper
My son works in another adjacent state after his graduation. I'm always in great pleasure whenever told that he will be back to hometown. It's so joyful that the three of us can get along again not only staying at home or having outdoor physical exercise in the evening somewhere around the nearby park.
the most happiest moment is to take dinner and chatting harmoniously at our favorite seafood outlet after the activity.
Take care and have a nice day

Before when I was still in college. We usually eat out on special occasions. But now, times are tough and my parents would rather cook and we all eat at home with them. We rarely go out anymore to dine. Another fact is, my siblings and I also have different schedules. Although we are all working and has the funds to eat out, even if we invite our parents-they still prefer to cook and eat at home.

hi,mavie, yes,in olden days there was possibility of dining whole family at a time and the social situation also allowed that time...even in India i knew the scenario of dining whole family. After the social situation changes to small families..migrating to different places on job purposes..even in that small family also wife and husband had different timings to go out...all these causes restricting the chance of dining whole family at a time.

Yeah..I just feel sad at the same time because we cannot go out just like before because we have to be practical. Nevertheless, being practical means that you don't get the chance to be happy with your family right? It's just another way of spending money wisely.

yes,we dine together (whole family).as long as we're all here at our house.specially now,it's summertime and vacation.sometimes we don't dine together because of works outside the house.my parents were both teachers and my siblings used to go to school.and other siblings go to work.sometimes,i'm left alone with my niece.so,we're the only ones who dine together.feels lonely sometimes.but i guess i'm really used to it.eversince,i'm always left alone, eating by myself..huhuhu...
