Hotels in Singapore  

I have gone to Singapore as a tourist last year, and we stayed in Garden Hotel, a modest, clean hotel, but the address I now forgot. My son and husband just had a one week vacation last month and they checked in at Orchard Hotel, along Orchard Road, the center of Singapore. They went to Sentosa of course, and they enjoyed cylon and human rides at the newly-opened Universal Studio. Of course, they went to Merlion, a tourist spot, some shops and some good food in restaurants. Good luck...here's wishing you the best.

ya Singapore is a clean country..i had visited there at the time of chinese new year..you can choose Hotel Victoria for the vaccation..

Hi aprilten, how are you? I wish you have wonderful weekend.. I have been traveled many times to Singapore and you can easily find good hotel with clean room there.. The problem is usually the location, if the location nearby to tourist destination normally will be more costly..However you no need to worried since they also have excellent public transportation like Mass rapid transport train or city bus..I suggest you to choose the hotel which located nearby but should be walking distance to MRT station or bus shelter..

I usually stay at hotels around orchard road like Orchard hotel or supreme which offer affordable price ..If you want more 3 or 4 stars hotel you can find ones around havelock road like river view hotel, copthorne or holiday inn since they have excellent shuttle bus almost every hour to orchard road..
Have a nice trip and hopefully not same schedule as Formula 1 grand prix since normally the price will be jump almost 2 or 3 times..

I'm not gonna suggest hotels.. I just wish you luck and have fun. Even if its in october haaha..I haven't been out of the country and am thrilled you are going out!!
