Do you like your house to be in a modern style or a classic style?  

I like a little bit of both. A classic design with a touch of simplicity. I would really like a chance to design my own house later on. But that would mean buying one of my own.

Really I kinda have my own style. But of the two I'd have to say classic because for the most part I don't like modern.

I like my home to be warm , comfy and inviting even if I'm the only one there.

Also I love scented candles and the fresh smell of everything after I've cleaned.

I am too young to build my own house but I would probably make it very minimalistic with a touch of both because I'm a lonely kind of guy. I really like doing different things like sports ,music and other things that take a lot of space. Well this got me thinking so I know what I'll be dreaming in like a hour or two. I usually spend a lot of time thinking about the future it helps my morale and motivation a lot ,I could say.

what i don t like is any combination of the 2. It is not a pleasant view :P. Thing is i like both, and i m pretty sure i ll never afford 2 houses :)

I would say something classic w/ a few modern touches to accent. But since I'm not much for fancy stuff (can't afford it anyway ;0) ) I like country styling with country decor.

Hi Grkelly, this is another good question that makes up a good and interesting discussion. I, as a person would want you to know that i prefer my house to be a mixed-style so as to avoid similarities because you could get the ,odern style which is so simple very easy amd also the classic style which could be familair among the elderly ones or people who fancy such styles and right now the modern styles in clothing, housing, cologne and even eating have evolved from the classic style so for me it's mod-class style which is an abberation but quite possible because of how i mix both style in anything i do, hope you umderstand my point of view, am trying to let you understand i like to be in between. Though it may be more expensive, but I love the classical Japanese house situated in a mountain area centering the forest but somehow fronting a lake.

I prefer classic style home and I have planned to design my home as it used to be in the old days where kings and queens were living. Cloassic with all the morden facilities, classic does not mean without practicality, it has to have practical design with classical touch.

well, I really prefer the classic style, just because it is more fresh and more nice looking for me, the modern style make the house looks like dead, like there is something wrong, and I would like that my house( o course when I have one) to eb in a classical style!

i want to make my house to me classic style. its the best style after all. because of its uniqueness. hehhe its up to the person building the house
