Has this happened to anyone

I posted two discussions on Mylot last night. The second discussion was generated when I realized that I had accidently posted the first discussion three times. I did not realize that it had downloaded so many times. My second discussion was about the overpost.
I had a few responses on just one of the post and the other two post did not have any responses. I then received a notification from Mylot today stating that my post had been deleted because of dupicate posts. That was not a problem I wanted the other two to be deleted. However I did not realize that they would delete the one with the responses and the leave the other one with no response. I contacted Mylot to see if they would correct this.
Has this ever happened to anyone and if so was it rectified?

I have noticed that when this happens the first discussion stays up and the others, which are the duplicates are the ones that are removed.
Each discussion has a unique number (you can see it in your browser) and I guess admins remove the oses which appear after the first, original one thst its posted.
Can you contact those who responded, through PM, and suggest that they respond again?

Once my discussion was posted two times. I requested admin to delete anyone. So far they have not. Maybe I have to report again, it's quite old.
And if they delete it, they will delete the one which was responded. wonder why always later ones are replied to, as in your case too.

I remember posting a duplicate discussion a while back. The first time I accidently posted the discussion before I finished typing it. I thought that I accidently deleted it so I ended up retyping the whole thing. It wasn't until a bit later that I realized that I posted the thing twice. So, I posted a discussion asking how to fix this issue. And the next day the incomplete discussion was deleted. There were a few responses on it so I was a bit bummed that it got deleted but it couldn't be helped.

No, it has never happened to me, as I don't start all that many discussions. It is easier for me to post responses, as I don't have to think of a topic, that way. I would be very furstrated if that were to happen to me, especially if it had responses to it and it got deleted, but the original one has no responses. It is hard enough coming up with a topic, without it being deleted with responses. That is my problem, not bein able to get enough responses, but it is better than no responses that is for sure. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
