I just received a message, it's about a child who died near the bridge and said it's his birthday. So, the forwarded message said that I must send it to 20 other persons and if not there will be a certain person on my family who will die and I will have bad luck for my whole life like Myra castillo??? I really hate this kind of messages. Just have faith in God.

When I first received one I got really scared so I sent it. But I was rebuked by my friend and so I was enlightened so now, I just delete it. Up until now, not even a single of the curses those messages came true yet. And I think, it never will.

I try not to open and read these kinds of messages. And although I don't think that they will actually bring me bad lucky, I have asked my friends not to forward them to me.
In turn, I think that there are a lot of new jokes out there. They are kind of making fun of the chain letters. At the end of a joke or a funny cartoon that you may receive, instead of saying that you will have bad luck, they say just to forward it so that your friends can enjoy it too. Or they might say something to the extent of if you don't forward this, nothing bad will happen to you, etc. I think it is funny whoever thought of adding this little funny, even though I cannot remember exactly how it is worded.
I remember, years ago, when I was just a kid, people used to get chain letters in the mail. A lot of people actually believed that if you sent these chain letters on to so many people that you would actually receive good luck, and fortune. I wonder if people actually became wealthy just because mailing out those letters put them in this good fortune state of mind. LOL

Same here! It's annoying me rather than scaring. I also receive chain messages that promise good luck after forwarding them to 10 or more people. Our faith in God does not rely and show in this kind of use of technology. It just spreads non-sense and not real and actual faith. I hope people will stop circulating this kind of messages.

Hello i get them daily in email, some by post, and some by persons, they ask you to forward the mail, write identical letters to say 20 or 50 persons without disclosing your identity,,, moreover there is threatening, like 'if you fail to do, xxx will occurr'
lol i hate these, simply delete the mails or ignore the letters..
Thank you so much for this nice discussion, cheers
God bless you.

I hate messages like that. A friend once told me that cellphone companies or anyone profitting out of it is behind all those chain messages. It's not God's work to curse people. Anyone making it just wants money. They are not even thinking that they are scaring people. What if the recipient has heart problems? People sending these kind of messages should think first before they forward it. I don't usually pay attention to chain messages especially the ones with badluck. They get deleted as soon as I started reading them. It's just a waste of time and and money to forward these kind of messages.

I get messages like that all of the time, but I usually don't forward them. Not that I have twenty people I can text. Well I have a large contact list, but a majority of those are business lines. Can't do much but call out on those ones. So.... Yeah I don't.

Good day dear Vycess , ohh having to receive these types off messages its just at first making me sad hearing and reading about the poor boy and i manny times wonder if this is true , but alot of times these are just scams , and games made up by uncostients childs , hence you cannot neither joke with such a subject neither make a person feel bad and be put in such a position , but I myself i dont believe in those kind of thingz , since i know that i am the one who is making the decisions ,and that no one has control on somebody else's faith or life , so please dont worry about these types of messages , they usualy come from bad MINDS that are borred and have nothing better to do.
Have a nice day dear Vycess.
