Hello dear friends, mylotters, mere bhai/s,sister/s, The last time i started a discussion is about hugging our parents even if we are old(no age limit hehehe) Yes,i was too excited that time, counting each seconds to welcome my mom at airport. The moment i saw her and held in my arms,i really hugged her too tight. That was 5 weeks ago...yeah,5 weeks ago. Now,she leave me again. Last Sunday,i was in tears and hugging my mom more tightly, the same place ..at the airport. The happiness we feel when we welcome our loved ones at the arrival area, same with the pain and sadness when we have to say farewell at the departure area. How about you dear friends, had same experience like this? My heart still aches and my eyes still cried while writing this. I miss my mom so much....so muchhhhhh (wahhhhh) I miss you guys too...i miss mylotting,i miss everything Have a good day everyone.

hello moonkerstin, Yah,it is true dear and i can relate very well about your feelings. Our mom work and is now living abroad, and,we really missed her. She visits once in a year and stays with us for more than a month. I know how you feel everytime we send our loved ones off to the airport. The worries and fears...but,this is life. Thanks for your response and have a good day always

i miss you too, my friend. i don't have a memory of this kind, welcoming or saying goodbye at the airport. but i miss those days when i have to visit the province and people in the house will welcome me with great foods i missed for years. the pabaon or pasalubong that mom prepares when i have to leave again. i missed her hugs. still good for you my dear, as you can still kiss her and hug her.

hello neil, Hello again my dear friend and brother,i miss you too,i miss everyone here in mylot. So fast the time is...it's been 5 weeks since my mom arrived and, just like a dream,we woke up one day she's again far from us. This 5 weeks gives a lot of memorable moment for us...my mom treat us(me and my siblings)for a vacation at hundred island, just us,no kids, enjoying the holiday. Then had swimming again with the whole bunch of kids, strolling every night, sitting and laughing with our old childhood memories. Ohhh..so much to say,so much to reminisce. Missing our family back in our hometown give us happiness that cannot be bought or buy. Hope you had a happy summer also my friend.

I hate saying farewell and just as I hate hearing the word farewell from my loved ones and friends but sometimes it is inevitable because each one has its own life to live and work to pursue. But as for me I never like to be separated from my loved ones. This is the reason why I reject any offer to work abroad and I don't want my husband to work abroad too. I want my family intact and would not want live away from each other. With my siblings, of course I have no control over their lives although I would prefer that they are also living near my home. My Dad has passed away several years ago (that is the saddest farewell I've ever known!), leaving behind my Mom who is now 84, old indeed and bedridden. I'm glad she lives just nearby so that I could visit her every night as I arrive home from office. I'm glad we've never really separated despite my marriage. I love my Mom so and would not want her to live afar.

hello salonga, Good for you that you had your family in one place/near from you. It is always good to have our family with us. Nobody wants to send their loved ones to work abroad, but some were forced to go and leave their families due to unemployment here in our country. Some go abroad for the a better future, good salary and opportunity. Thanks for your response dear and have a good day always

Welcome back dear, i was a bit confused, as you have changed your avtar I donot hug my near and dear ones, but as per our tradition the elders touch feet of youngers, we fold our hands in Namaste style.. This is both when we welcome or depart.. Thank you so much for this nice discussion, cheers God bless you. Prof

hello dear Prof, Thanks for the welcome dear brother. Yah,we had different ways of showing our love to our beloved. Hug and kiss is common here, for both women, men elders and youths. It is how we express how much we love and missed our loved ones. Thanks again for sharing your tradition dear and have a good day always

Hello Shaw, Yah,the first time is the hardest part maybe, but still, everytime our loved one leave us,going far abroad for a long time, still,we're not get to use to it. The tears still there, same way as it is like the first time always. Like my mom always tells us...coming home is a bag full of happiness, yet an overflowing bag of sadness when it's time to leave. Thanks for your response and have a good day always

I am the worst one for making an airport scene. You would think i was sending someone off to the ends of the earth never to be seen again. I do more hugging and kissing and clinging and crying when i have to say goodbye to a loved one at the airport. So much drama...until the next visit.

hello sender, Oh my ,my mom really hates it when someone among us (her kids)cry when sending her off. She says,it's so hard to leave when someone is crying,it breaks her heart and she doesn't like the feeling. So,we keep our tears (thu it's impossible to hold it)we did cry,but not to sob,or else, our mom will walk away and run inside the departure premises where senders are not allowed. So,we better behave and then cry when she entered the restricted area. Ohhh,...sending our loved ones is one of the hardest part/scenes at the airport. Thanks for sharing your drama my dear. Have a good day always.
