I've been touched by an angel. Have you?  

'Every cloud has a silver lining,
bee sucks honey out
of the bitterest flowers,
he who falls today
may rise tomorrow,
in the end
things will mend,
while there is life
there is hope..........'

These were the exact words, simple, normal, not really great. Printed on a thin, cheap card in red which stood out against a background of blue. Given to a guy who was in pain. A pain so great such as the passing of a beloved dad, cool, calm, relaxed, quiet, a role-model for being the best dad. Words were red. And snapshot of the card taken but later hidden and forgotten in the midst of all the virtual data of an old disc.

A discovery I met recently. Almost 5 years later. Memories of my great dad linger though but I've long learnt to accept his death and have looked forward ever since. But I will never forget the day I received this card, one sombre, gloomy afternoon when the sky was almost too heavy to pour, the simple message it bore and not knowing who the person who brought it, who placed it on my table and who left without a word.
