What type of music do you prefer?  

I like to listen to classical music especially from the late Luciano Pavarotti and co.,a country song from Shaina Twain, a lovesong from Westlife. Happy myLotting!friend.

That's right, every person has got his/her own likes. In my case, I love classical music like 'My country' written by Smetana or 'Spring in Aranjuez' of Rodrigo. Beside, I like soft and instrumental music, all in relation with guitar and pan fluite.

I absolutely love modern folk music. The Avett Brothers, Noah and the Whale, Iron and Wine, Johnny and the Moon, Fountain Penn. And I always love some Bob Dylan. I also love late 80s and early 90s punk. Nirvana, Rancid, Dinosaur Jr, Social Distortion, etc. I basically like anything that you can tell is genuine and is meant to be music

Different people, different interest, different music, different choices. Yes, we have different kinds of music we want to listen to. As for me, I prefer to listen to spiritual hymns, psalms and songs that will uplift my spirit towards God. Gone are the days when I listen and prefer to listen to other music of this world. I have decided to put away those worldly music and welcome christian music that will give glory to my Lord and Savior, who is the author of music in my heart.

I've been listening to a lot more rock lately. I have an interest in a lot of different music genres, but bands like Disturbs and Arcade Fire have been heavy rotation for me as of late.

I like most music. I like classical music with violins most. But with a large orchestra it's good to. Then of to Jazz and Blues which are both great but I only discovered them a short time ago. But I like Hardcore Punk like Story of The Year because most of the time they have very good messages to bring.
At the moment is Celtic Punk (Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, ...) my favorite genre. But my favorite band of the moment is definitely Rise Against with a great combo between lyrics and music. I can enjoy almost any kind of genre which includes guitars and drums.
And last of all I also like electronic music. Although not so much good artists lately in my opinion.

I like bossa nova because it gives me a great feeling, i also like rnb rap and hip hop sometimes i listen to mariah carey, celine dion, whitney houston songs. i like local bands like callalily.

I love music that feeds my soul and uplift my spirit.

I can hear many different styles but mainly I hear electronic music from the end of the 90's and native american music. Drum N Bass and some Hiphop is also preferred. I never limit myself ! :D Music has helped me a lot in this life, and I have also produced numerous songs on my own, which I enjoy deeply.

I like all the artist you've mention. They are all part of my childhood. I love folk and country songs too. Besides you've mention I love the songs of the 80's. I am more of Madonna, Tears for Fears, Cindy Lauper, Heart, Huey Lewis, Phil collins, Kenny Loggins, Debbie Gibson, Bonnie Tyler, Tiffany, Wham, Culture Club and many more. All songs from the 80's I truly love them. I am more of a new wave baby.

I really like music with good back beats. I like listening to really good R&B songs. I don't like mainstream R&B though. I like underground music better since it has better artists and songs. I also like listening to indie artists. I like listening to deep lyrics and cracking the meaning up.
