| | They are both good in Application development but for vb.net is more easy than Delphi. Delphi use by most Major Company and used it for integration to other application. On my previous Job, our clients are Hotels and Airports, and they used Delphi as their Application, and I didn't see any application from my clients developed from VB.net. In these case, you can have many options if you have a knowledge on Delphi. Note that programming is almost the same but different on Syntax only. If you know one language, i'm sure it's easily for you to understand and learn new languages. You can consider also the Oracle, most job opening required Oracle Database. | | | | | | |

| | You have to know first what you want to do before you can choose a better programming language to use. Anyway, I am using c#. LOL | | | | | | |

| | For me it's a no. Practice makes perfect. Anyway, if you know the flow of the program or the logic, syntax won't be a much problem. What I like about c# is its intellisense which makes it easier to do the coding although the syntaxes in c# are longer than c++. Another, in c# you have to convert and parse more often than in c++. | | | |

| | haha C# is child's-play compared to C++. You have the garbage collector so you dont have to manage memory and like (most high level languages) there is syntax candy so you dont have to deal with pointers. Plus if you go the .net route you'll have libraries up to your ears. Think of it this way C++ is C# with objects and C# is java BUT BETTER. | | | |
