I forgot when did I start to develop a habit to write my daily journal everyday. It was good since it will be a good memory for us.I always look back and cherck my journal once awhile and see how things had happen in my life .Sometimes ,it was full of happiness and other times, will be full of sadness.I think writing a journal will help me to observe more about life and get to know things about life better. The reflection I had from the journal will stir up my thinking all the times,so that I could think of things in a deeper sense.Well, what about you ?Share with us.

It is so nice to read this topic. I am glad that people like you have the patience to keep writing and maintaining journals.
I used to write a journal when I was much younger. But as time passed and I got into college, I never found the time. How sad! I should have continued. I think I should restart it now. It is really wonderful to read older instances from our lives and in a sense relive memories. :)

Well,it is never too late to restart it all over again.Anything after a consistency of 7 days will become a habit.Try it and you will save more memory. When you look back ,you may not just save memeory but also some kinds of new awaring about your self or the world around you.I think when we look back on the diary or journal,it is going to be some kinds of great mirror and a good recorder for our past.Time goes by fast and we surely need some record, otherwise,we will miss a lot on what had happened in our life during thos historical moment.I hope you will reconsider it.Have a good daya nd thank you for your response.

I do encourage my grand daughter to "write it down". I have several journal books for her to write in.
Her imagination is amzing and she loves to write stories. I have been having her do this since before she could write! I told her to tell me and I'd write it down for her. Now she looks at that book and is amazed she had such imagination!
Her stories are great and wonderful her only problem is "follow through". She gets going for a bit, then changes the subject! Everything from whales and animals to fairy princess, trolls and an imaginary life for herself...everything included! I love re reading her stories

I started wriing on a diary when my bestfriend gave a diary paired to her so that even if were not together we can still be updated with the events that happens to us. I agree that diaries bring joyful and sad memories and it's nice to keep those. I started having my diary when I'm in high School and till now that I'm college. Because of my diary I was able to evaluate myself from the "me" in the past and now.

I tried writing before but I eventually stop. Although I know the importance of keeping a diary, I just don't feel writing about the happenings in my life. I am also afraid that someday I might misplaced it. I don't want other people to know my secrets. Lastly, I think I don't have the luxury to spend on diaries. Maybe ten diaries will not be enough. But it is still interesting to know that there is still someone keeping journals. Have fun Wildlittlefan!

i used to in the past... but just for a while... after that, i give up on writing a diary because my mum secretly read on my diary one day and i am so angry and hurt because of that... all my secrets are revealed and i'm not too happy about that... after that, i decided to keep everything just inside my heart... take care and have a nice day...

when I was a kid I used to have this small notebook where I would write down all my thoughts and feelings. but when I grew older, I decided to keep everything online and created a blog. I have had one for more than 3 years now and every months or so, I would look back at the things I've written and I marvel at how so many things we has happened in my life in a short span of time. writing on my blog is therapeutic for me.

I haven't kept a proper journal since I was in middle school or so.
I do think it's a good idea to keep one- as you said it can help you look at your life in different ways. I do like to keep a little notebook with me these ays to jot down random thoughts, though.

Hello dear Wildlittlefan , to be honest i have never had an ideea like keeping a diarry , not even when i was a childs , simply because i dont know whats the use of it , and if i'll ever do it and note inside thingz that i've done and i'd like to keep it for myself , i am sure that one day it will get in other hands then mine and be readed by someone else , and that would be really stupid from me to do so.
Have a nice day
